I am TOTALLY obsessed with pin-up girls and secretly I am obsessed w/ comic book images. Don't tell anybody but I have always LOVED how artists get that NON-real/real look w/ the shadows and dark lines [or the lack thereof] and the color is just a bonus. So! . . . I was on the Hundreds blog and those lucky bastards got a shit load of books from Dark Horse comics as a GIFT [can't wait 'til I get to that level] and they featured one of Bettie Page [historic pin-up girl] done by Jim Silke and I went NUTS on google and I'm STILL not satisfied because I can't find a larger image of one of the pics from his book. I'm going to keep doing more research because I want to know if it was an obsession on his behalf or a marketing tactic via Page's strategy team hmmm : ) Can't wait to find out more.
