hip-hop/rap vs rock & roll

Is there any difference in hip-hop & rock and roll when it comes to women? Should women in the hip-hop industry be considered more sexual cuz they "got a body on 'em" doing a SIMILAR pose to a rock and roll chick whose got not-a lotta? I guess I'm just sick and tired of people making it seem like rap music/hip-hop is this overly sexual market and EVERY other genre is surviving w/o it. What's the real difference?? It couldn't be the fact that for hundreds of years women of color have been given the stigma that they are over-sexualized beings? That couldn't have anything to do with it at all? Because if you ask me, when it walks like a duck & quacks like a duck, it's a duck, when it takes pictures like a girl who's posing w/ no clothes on and dances in a vid like a girl who's posing w/ no clothes on, it's a girl who's posing w/ no clothes on, period, and it's okay.
